Jenna Logsdon, Ph.D., is a patent agent in the firm's Chemical Patent Prosecution group focusing on patent preparation and prosecution for domestic and international clients. She is experienced in organic chemistry, materials science, nanomaterials, and ultrafast spectroscopy.

Prior to joining Oblon, she spent several years in the technology transfer offices at Northwestern University, the National Cancer Institute, and the University of South Florida, working with university inventors on a wide variety of technologies.

Dr. Logsdon obtained her doctoral degree in chemistry at Northwestern University, where she synthesized and analyzed the photophysical properties of organic chromophores for use in organic photovoltaics, using techniques such as transient absorption spectroscopy and small angle x-ray scattering. She has published more than 15 papers in this field.
